    A baby orangutan climbing onto a branch in Borneo Indonesia. The orangutan is an endangered species due to large scale deforestation caused by palm oil plantations that are destroying the orangutan's natural habitat at an alarming rate. Speciesfact, The orangutans are the Asian genus of great ape. Speciesfact, the Bornean orangutan, Genus Pongo, Pongo pygmaeus, is native to the Indonesian island of Borneo.
